Photoshop CS5 – Photography manipulation
With this example, I was attempting to invoke a feel of the woman walking in front of an old church. It is a composite of a photo I took at the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art and an old church photo I obtained through stock.xchng a great free photo source. The next is a photo I got of a statue at the Met. I brightened the forefront image of the statue subject, blurred out the background and adjusted levels and curves to make it pop.
Photoshop CS5 – User Interface ideas
I am experimenting with UI elements. Here I used two shape layers, gradient overlays and beveling to create a silver knob effect.
In addition, I worked on another idea for icon design. This was an icon that was meant to represent an RSS feeder. I created the paddle portion of it:
The idea of the knob came from this video: http://vimeo.com/3992865, the paddle from http://www.netmagazine.com/tutorials/create-web-icon
New logo design for website
In practicing with Photoshop CS5, I created a new logo design for my website idea Complex Intellects. The idea being a website thatĀ caters to those on the autism and Aspberger syndrome spectrum. The plan is to make art available for posting so that all can enjoy the talents of children and adults with Autism and Aspberger’s.
Mesa Old West Days website and animation
My friend Jim Bunetta and I are working on a possible redesign for his website, Mesa Old West Days. It is an annual western festival celebrating Mesa Arizona. I designed a flash animation of the horse and rider that was created by ElĀ Vaquero Muerto, whose site is http://elvaqueromuerto.com/
